Through the contact form and the exchanges that follow: name, email address, telephone, preferred villa, dates, number of guests and a description of your plans.

When you book: the information needed to draw up the contract (identity, address, guest list) and for payment, which is handled by our payment provider.

Answering your enquiry and preparing a proposal: pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Article 6.1.b GDPR).

Performing the rental contract and organising the stay: performance of a contract (Article 6.1.b).

Meeting our accounting and tax obligations: legal obligation (Article 6.1.c).

Measuring site audience anonymously: legitimate interest (Article 6.1.f), which you may refuse. See the cookie policy.

Your data is used by our team and, solely for the purposes of your stay, by the owner and staff of the villa you book. It may be processed by our technical providers (site hosting, email, payment), who are bound by confidentiality. It is never sold or passed on for marketing purposes.

Where a provider is located outside the European Union, the transfer relies on a European Commission adequacy decision or on the standard contractual clauses it has adopted.

Enquiries that do not lead to a booking: three years from the last contact. Clients: the duration of the contractual relationship, then three years for marketing purposes. Accounting records: ten years. Cookie preferences: six months.

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data, to object to its processing, and to set instructions for what happens to it after your death. To exercise these rights, write to enquiries@frenchrivieravillas.fr; we reply within one month.

If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).

The site is served exclusively over HTTPS, and access to data is limited to the people who need it to handle your request.
