Behind the harbour, narrow streets climb through the historic centre past the Rue Obscure, the citadel and the Chapelle Saint-Pierre, decorated by Jean Cocteau. The town has kept a more intimate atmosphere than its larger neighbours, while remaining exceptionally well placed for exploring the French Riviera.
